NEW YORK TURF NOTES T 3 NEW YORK, N. T., May 1. H. W. Maxwells Snifter will nqt be shipped to Piinlico to start in the Green Spring Valley. Trainer H. Eder stated that his fencer pulled up sore after a breeze this morning. "Pud" McDaniel Is pointing Mrs. M. Jm Allens Vander Pool for the Youthful Stakes to be run here Saturday, May 10. The funeral of Connie Bruder, who died in the Roosevelt Hospital from injuries received from a fall, will be held Saturday afternoon from his late home, 14 Sawnee Ave., Elmont, Long Island. Interment will be at Hempstead. Hustle On, the costly son of Hurry On, ha3 been retired to owner W. R. Coes Lexington breeding farm. He entered the stud this spring. Miss Ruth Goldsborpugh, daughter of Jack Goldsborough, the well known trainer, was married to William Cruz at the home of her parents last night F. Hopkins left for Baltimore tonight He will saddle one of the Whitney starters in a stake at Pimlico Friday. Bubbling Out, a two-year-old, has been sold by Ben Creech, acting for W. R. Coe, to the Mount Royal Stable. The colt will be shipped to Canada. Pete Walls returned from Maryland today. He will return to Pimlico next week. John I. Day, racing official, returned from Wheeling, W. Va., where he served as presiding steward. Mrs. C. H. Hildreth, accompanied by her niece, Miss Casey, were visitors of the day and witnessed the running of the different races from the clubhouse balcony.
