THRACE IS BEULAH WINNER Defeats Pacheco and Shorty 0 0in in Fifth Event Big Bill BillThompson Thompson a Victor COLUMBUS Ohio May 10 Thrace the John P Grier gelding came in for another victory this afternoon when he outran a good field for a mile and seventy yards in the fifth race at Beulah Park Pacheco was second and Shorty O third thirdGolden Golden Locks was a winner all the way in the first race Jockey Mattiloi got her to the front very quickly and she soon had a good lead but toward the end she weakened somewhat and Eunice Atwell after saving ground was closing in on her Porto de Oro ran a good race and but for a slow start would have been a stronger factor factorRube Rube Samuelson won the second which was at threequarters of a mile and in the third over the same distance Big Bill Thompson which has been going in his best form since coming from the AVest scored another triumph He got in ahead of Shasta Love which attracted considerable attention here some time ago by winning at a big mutuel price
