PIN TAIL forced the early pace from the start and, shaking off SARIETTA in the final eighth, drew •way thereafter. The latter showed high speed, but tired when put to a drive. FOXIANA showed a good performance from the start and held on well. ALL ROWES finished resolutely. MAD STEP was bothered slightly after the start and closed ground under urging. FEATHERWEIGHT, on the outside of the leaders, tired under pressure. TINY WRACK showed a good performance. KADANA swerved suddenly after the start and unseated her rider. Won easily; second and third the same. CHENANGO, rated behind the pace until the last turn, moved up stoutly when called upon, saved ground on the turn and, disposing of MADIOLA, drew away. The latter, a factor throughout, assumed tht lead while racing to the ninth fence, lost ground on the turn, but tired thereafter and was eased up. KENZIE showed a good performance for the first mile. DEGAS quit after racing forwardly on the first turn. VALOROUS fell at the sixth fence and OMAR ROMAR lost his rider at the third jump. Start good out of machine. Won easily ; second and third driving. FALL APPLE, taken under restraint was guided to the outside in the final eighth and, drawing away, won with speed to spare. UNIVERSE began out of hand, but quickly raced BRANDON MINT and DON RED into defeat and outlasted IRENES BOB in the final drive. The latter responded to urging when called upon, moved up fast on the inside, then tired. DON RED showed early speed. BRANDON MINT showed a good performance. DEFIER finished well. The latter, racing forwardly throughout, was taken in hand when CURATE drew away and responded to urging in the stretch. GREAT GUN saved ground on the turns and, going to the outside in the stretch, closed resolutely. FRISIUS was outrun early. BEAU JOLIE raced well in spots and showed an even performance. SIGN OFF raced close to the early pace, but tired badly. COIN COLLECTOR had no mishaps. PRINCE JEST quit. TAIL SPIN was an early trailer. COCKRILL and PRINCE PEST began outside the machine.
