A. LOGAN DENNY DIES NEW ORLEANS, La., Jan. 28. Deep regret was expressed in the local turf colony at the news of the sudden death of A. Logan Denny, veteran owner and trainer, who succumbed to a heart attack at his apartment Wednesday evening. The deceased was a native of Kentucky and for many years successfully campaigned a small string of horses. He had two at Hialeah Park, Night Edition and Reservation and his good jumper Le Bey is wintering in Maryland. Mr. Denny is survived by his widow, Grace Denny in whose name the horses ran, two brothers, Richard, former foreman for the J. E. Widener stable and Judge J. D. Denny, of Lexington, Ky., and one sister, Miss Belle Denny of Stanford, Ky. The remains will likely be sent to the deceaseds birth place, Davenport, Ky., for burial.
