TULANE LASS, also in close quarters early, closed resolutely. CATALANS IDOL, close up after a quarter, tired in thp .stretch. VILLAGE VAMP saved much ground and closed well. WELL BEHAVED met interference. INTRUDER failed to respond under urging. PRINCE TRAFALGAR showed early speed. BIG BLUE met interference and dropped back after half a mile. PRINCE ASCOT unseated his rider and cantered off a quarter before the start, began slowly, but improved his position fast entering the stretch, then tired near the end. VERITY BALLOT, away slowly, lost much ground on the stretch turn and closed with a rush. CHU CHU was forced back when LAMPOON dropped back suddenly on the stretch turn. TWISTED THREADS, rank at the post and placed outside the machine, raced wide. MAGNA MATER quit. LAMPOON met interference, but showed early speed, as did CIRCUS PARADE. LENA M. began fast, saved ground throughout and Jield on well. PRIMEVAL, forced to lose ground, was unable to get up, but withstood the drive gamely. SUPER TOY showed a good performance. LITTLE PAN had no mishaps. CHATTERWAY was weakly ridden. AGNES SOREL quit. VIOLIN dropped out of it after three-eighths and showed a dull performance. BOOBY BIRD, on the inside most of the way, tired. TEWSENELDA was outrun. HIGH FLIGHT! fractious at the post, dropped out of it as if sulking after three-eighths and was eased Up.
