RULE ON STEEPLECHASES AGUA CALD3NTE, Mexico, Jan. 29. The following announcement was posted on the bulletin board at the race track: "The management reserves the right to cancel steeplechase events on account of the condition of the field, or to run them over hurdles on the main track."
