DOUBLE HEART, away forwardly, was crowded back on the back stretch, then followed the leaders under restraint until straightened out in the stretch, where he closed gamely and easily disposed of GLENSIDE. The latter, carried his weight well, forced a fast early pace and raced BLACK WATCH into defeat, but was no match for the winner. BLACK WATCH showed good speed, saved ground, but tired. JAZ AGE, closest to the leaders, suffered repeated interference, went to the outside in the stretch and was probably best. FULL DRESS gained fast on the inside on the turn, but was blocked at the three-sixteenths, post and forced to pull up, as was ELLICE. FULL DRESS outlasted ELLICE.
