JOCKEYS TO PLAY BALL MIAMI, Fla., Jan. 29. Jockeys at Hia-"Ieah Park arc organizing a soft ball team to play against a local club on a charity program which will be given at the Bay Shore Park diamond on the evening of the Unemployment Day, to be held at the Miami Jockey Clubs course late in the meeting. Pete Walls, veteran methopolitan rider, is regarded the kingpin ball player of American jockeys, and will likely captain the team. Others who will be seen in action . are Sonny Workman, Alfred Robertson, Mack Garner, Pony McAtee, Hank Mills and Charlie Kurtsinger.
