A field of at least ten and possibly twelve will meet in the renewal of the ,000 added Mardi Gras Handicap coming up at the Fair Grounds next Tuesday afternoon, according to programs of the trainers of the even score eligibles. Starters will include such of the outstanding older handicap stars as the Greentree Stables Surf Board; Knebel-kamp .and Morris Spanish Play; C. V. Whitneys Bargello; M. Goldblatts Jimmy Moran; Charles Bacharachs Playtime; R. A. Fair-bairns Glastonbury; E. Haughtons Wotan; J. McPhersdns Prince Pest; E. R. Bradleys Bar Hunter and Broad Meadows, and J. J. Robinsons Lucky Tom, champion three-year-old of the winter, may be the lone one of his age to tackle the more matured turf giants after the prize.
