I COMMITTEES FOR MIAMIS I J CHARITY DAY A.-... MIAMI, Fla., Feb. 19. Mrs. Fred Tod of Miami has consented to act as chairman of the committee of patronesses for the Miami Jockey Clubs Charity Day, Tuesday, February 23. The executive committee has been named and will consist of Mrs. E. C. Rompf, vice-chairman; Mrs. Barclay H. Warburton, Mrs. J. Haseltine Carstairs, Mrs. J. H. Bright, Mrs. P. A. B. Widener, Mrs. John Hertz, Mrs. H. C. Phipps, Mrs. John Hay Whitney, Mrs. Norman E. Mack, Mrs". C. Leroyking and Mrs. Thomas N. Stillwell. Committees will be appointed, as last year, to handle the programs, flowers and cigarettes. A boxholders committee will also be named. Racing secretary John S. Wallace has been placed in charge of the horsemens committee; Mortimer Mahoney, the mutuels; Capt. James W. Kinnarney, the employes, and Mack Garner, the jockeys. Organization of the committees and planning of routine is going along smoothly. The entertainment program will be announced tomorrow, and secretary John S. Wallace promises one of the most attractive racing programs of the meeting for the day.
