AURORA STALl REQUESTS Early Applications Include Many Prominent Owners Racing at New Orleans. NEW ORLEANS, La., Feb. 29 Requests for stable room at the Aurora track are being accepted here by Frank Otis, a member of the Aurora racing department, and as received they are forwarded to Martin Nathanson, presiding steward in charge of the racing. Early applications point to the usual large number of first class stables, and almost without exception owners who have raced their horses there in recent years, plan to return for the eighteen-day spring meeting. Otis will arrange several special trains to transport a majority of the horses going direct to Exposition Park from here. Some of the early applicants for stalls at Exposition Park, where the annual spring meeting of the Exposition Park Jockey Club opens Monday, May 2, include J. B. Theall Lone Star Stable, R-. Dohle, W. W. Finn, W. P. Gaines, V. Gallo, Nugent Brothers, C. Finn, E. B. Carpenter, F. H. Carpenter, C. Howard, Knebelkamp and Morris, E. E. Major, J. J. Duggan, R. D. Miller and others.
