The string is made up of Bye o Baby, Chore Boy, Dont Touch, First Rate, Inferno Lad, James T., Montgomery Maid, Naughty Jean, Pagan Lady, Peace Dove, Perfect Power, Prestige, Society Talk and Florida Gold. Charles E. Patterson, who is training a public stable at the Kentucky Association course, has received from W. O. Briggs, of Detroit, the following two-year-olds to be trained: Bright Jane, b. f, by Donnacona — Speariana; Bright Susan, br. f, by Tryster — Maschera; Bridge, b. c, by Donnacona — Miss McNeill. Col. Phil T. Chinn has procured from W. O. Briggs two yearlings which have been added to his string at Old Hickory Farm and which are to be sent to Saratoga for the sales in August. They are the black colt by Black Toney — Gera B.t and the bay colt by Bubbling Over — Maschera. He also has secured the bay colt by St. James — Tolu, by Chicle, from the Warm Stable. Nimble Hoofs has foaled a chestnut filly by Pot au Feu and she is the last of the mares at Coldstream Stud to produce this season. The foals at the C. B. Sheaffer establishment this year are reported to be exceptionally good looking.
