AGNES SOREL improved her position steadily and, finishing fast on the outside, took command in the last sixteenth and held NOELS DRESS safe. The latter suffered much interference, but came gamely when clear in the stretch. PRECEDE was slow to get going and was forced to race on the outside most of the way, but was going gamely at the end. LENNY tired slightly. NINOTTE saved ground to show in front in the stretch, then quit badly. WIGROSE tired after making the early pace. MORHEART could not get up. NORMAHAL came fast in the stretch and was gaining at the end, but did not threaten. AMOUR showed early speed, then tired. LA FIESTA also showed early speed. KITTY OWAY was racing well at the finish. PREMEDITATE tired after making the early pace. SISTER MARY could not keep up. ALTMARK was never a factor. OUTER HARBOR raced poorly and pulled up lame. ROLLING SEA was cut off on the far turn.
