MAD MULLAH went to the outside in the first half mile and, racing very wide entering the stretch, closed fast and was up to win in the final twenty yards. ROSELYS raced LUCKY STONE into early defeat, then tired after drawing into a good lead. CUDGELDOE finished gamely under urging. CHATHAM QUEEN, was away slowly and raced better than the chart shows. FREETHINKER was forced wide all the way. PRINCELY PAL finished resolutely after starting slowly. PROBATE and LUCKY STONE quit. HOSTAGE, slow to start, was taken to the outside and finished resolutely. .BABBLE, bothered leaving the back stretch, finished gamely when clear. MITTENS was gaining at the end. AUTUMN BLOOM had a lot taken out of him racing HAT BRUSH into defeat and tired badly in the closing eighth. SKIRT closed a good gap. STRETCHER, DONATE, HAT BRUSH and JUSTA QUEEN quit. GOLDEN FAIRY improved her position and closed fastest of all. INDIAN WITCH saved ground while in the lead, but tired. MARION ORMONT finished with good courage. BELMONA was crowded back early. JANIE G. was always outrun. ZONDA was made too much use of from a slow start. AGNES SOREL quit.
