RESERVATIONS AT ARLINGTON Prominent People of Chicago Among Boxholders for Thirty Days Racing at Northwest Side Track. ARLINGTON -HEIGHTS, 111., June 17. Leaders in the civic, industrial, professional and social life of Chicago and most of them well known throughout the country, have reserved boxes in the Post and Paddock Club at Arlington Park for the thirty days of racing starting Monday, June 27, several boxes also have been reserved by prominent sportsmen of other sections who are planning to attend the Arlington racing, notably Marshall Field III., John Hay Whitney and Edward R. Bradley. Prominent among the Post and Paddock Club box holders are Kenneth G. Smith, Thomas E. Wilson, P. D. Block, Arthur Jackson, Vincent Bendix, Brittain I. Budd, L. Montefiore Stein, B. J. Grigsby, John F. Cuneo, George A Cooke, General Milton J. Foreman, B. R. Brown, Charles S. Pearce, Weymouth Kirkland, Oscar Hieneman, H. H. Lobdell, Fred L. Mills, John Hertz, Silas Strawn, Charles A. McCulloch, Warren Wright, Albert D. Lasker, Otto W. Lehmann, Roy D. Keehn, Edward dAncona, Morris Vehon, Leonard S. Florsheim, Lawrence Stern, Harry L. Thompson, P. J. Hursen, Walter Schuttler, Leeds Mitchell and Edward N. Hurley. The list of box holders in the enclosure also is quite extensive and includes such prominent men as Alfred Thibodeau, C. Le Roy Brown, Sam Goodman, Thomas McHale, John C. Schank, Hal Price Headley, E. W. Eckerly, Robert Mandel, Milton J. Florsheim, Val Crane, Leo J. Marks, John Marsch, Norman W. Church, Charles B. Shaffer, Richard Fitzgerald, Joseph P. Griffin, Max Sickle, B. F. Bensinger and L. M. Severson. A large demand for boxes for July 4 and Classic day, July 16, has been made, indicating banner crowds for the racing on these two days, the holiday marking the renewal of the S30.000 Stars and Stripes Handicap, while the Classic will have an approximate gross value of 5,000.
