EQUIPOISE TO ARLINGTON PARK NEW YORK, N. Y., June 23. C. V. Whitneys Equipoise, which with five other of his stable mates, will be shipped to Arlington Park today and the son of Pennant and Swinging promises to be at his best for the running of the Stars and Stripes Handicap, his first engagement in Chicago. Thursday morning at Belmont Park he was sent along for an easy mile in 1:40. Equipoise, which is trained by Fred Hopkins, will not have -Top Flight for a travelling companion, thoug-the daughter of Dis Done and Flyatit is being fitted for the Arlington Oaks and she will make the journey before long. This great filly had a trial of a mile and a furlong in 1:54 at Belmont Park Thursday morning and she was breezing all the way, suggesting a readiness to meet all comers.
