Won driving; second and third the same: FRENCH DUCHESS went to the front soon after the start and, well rated in the early stages, had enough left to withstand the closing challenge of CATHOP. The latter moved forward steadily after leaving the back strech, but was forced to come to the outside at the stretch turn and could hot catch the leader. WAYLAYER closed ground.
