DIXIE LAD, forced back after three-eighths, moved up boldly in the stretch, then tired. MOTHERS CHOICE raced well. WAR TIME quit. WATCHGIRL showed early speed. TftA SIXTH RACE 1 Mile outof chute. GETTIN EVEN, away fast and suited by the going, was well in hand for three-quarters, increased his advantage when shaken up, but tired near the end. WHIPPER CRACKER, probably best, but away slowly, lost ground early, improved his position fast in the last quarter and, although in close quarters, outlasted DELIVERED. The latter, rated close to the pace, held on gamely under pressure and bore over near the end, placing WHIPPER. CRACKER in .close quarters. DURVA had no mishaps. WINNIE JO lost ground, particularly on the stretch turn. ZIDA began fast, but failed to respond to strong urging and quit badly. CABAMA did not threaten. ARCTURUS showed early speed.
