Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third tho same. MR. KHAYYAM moved into command at tho start, showed speed, saved ground and, shaking off LITTLE LAD in tho stretch, held HOW HIGH safe. The latter improved his position under pressure, responded in the stretch and finished fast. LITTLE LAD showed early speed, challenged gamely, but tired at the end. CLOUDY DAY propped at the start and was as good as left, but improved his position. MAREVE moved into command with a rush, saved ground and held on well. JUBILATION, close up throughout, tired.
