1 SPORTSMANS PARK NOTES ! J. Longo, who made the engagements for C. H. Ainsworth at Lincoln Fields, has taken over the book of jockey L. Feeney who does the contract riding for A. C. Niehaus. Trainers licenses were issued to A. Johnson, E. H. Langlois, W. H. Snearly and John Tobin. The only jockey applications passed on by the stewards were to P. Neal and the apprentice J. Dalton. . Danny McAuliffe, under contract to the Mrs. E. Denemark Stable, had his first mount of the meeting on Meloy in the fifth race Wednesday. Albert Johnson, the former jockey and winner of many stake races, was an arrival from Maryland and registered the three-year-old Frank Grossman and the older horse Mable. Johnson returns to Chicago as a trainer. The stewards have posted a bulletin to the effect that contract mounts will be charged to riders only when riding for their contract employers. The following riders had their first mounts of the meeting Wednesday: D. McAuliffe, P. Neal, M. Verbus, J.T. OMalley, C. Mills and H. Hutton. On Friday the fourth race will be named for William Hale Thompson and the fifth for Len Small, candidate for governor. Tror-phies will be presented to the winning owners of both races. John Tobin was another arrival with Twelve Sixty, Flora Levy and Danilo.
