CHARLES TENNES, SR. DIES The many turf friends and acquaintances of Charles Tennes, Sr., of Chicago, will learn, with deep sorrow of his death on October 11. He formerly was the manager of Willie Hoppe and Jake Schaeffer, Sr., champion billiard players. His remains are at Carrolls Mortuary, 4542 Ravenswood Avenue. Burial will be at Calvery Cemetery.
