STEEPLECHASER KILLED MEDIA, Pa., Oct. 13. Fairbanks H., from the stable of Mrs. G. L. Redmond, of West-bur, L. L, was killed and his rider, Carroll Bassett, of Red Bank, N. J., suffered a broken rib in a fall yesterday at. the second days racing over the Rose Tree Hunt course. .The accident occurred during the running of the Bear Hill Plate, a two-mile steeplechase. Fairbanks II. was well in the foreground when he fell.
