POLITIANS BEST came from far back, overtook the leaders in the stretch and held GO EASY safe. The latter went to the leaders under pressure, but tired in the stretch. NORTH SHADOW, forcd wide on the first turn, responded to hard urging and tired. TERRY ROSE raced into a good lead, but lost all chance by racing wide on the last turn. DIXIE MOON showed early speed.
