POLAR BRUSH raced forwardly and finished gamely. INDIAN BOY was going gamely at the end. SCOTCH NELL saved ground while hard ridden, but tired, in the stretch. CORRYMEELA had no excuses. CANTER LIGHT, slow to get going, came through on the inside entering the stretch, but tired after getting to the leaders. GOODESTONE was unable to menace the leaders. MARVAN raced wide all the way. GRAND ACRE, close to DANCING MACK, shook-off the latter leaving the back stretch and, taken out into the firmer footing, tired in the stretch. DANCING MACK fell back on the turn, but closed a gap under urging. TINGE was taken extremely wide all the way. LILLYBET was outrun.
