REDUCE ADMISSION PRICES Miami Racing Association Cuts Prices to Club House as Well as to the Grandstand. MIAMI, Fla., Oct. 20 Reductions in admission charges at Hialeah Park for the winter meeting were announced today by James M. Bright, secretary of the Miami Racing Association, upon his return from Philadelphia, where he was guest of Joseph E. Widener. Grandstand seats have been cut from .50 to , plus state tax of 15 cents and federal tax of 10 cents. Club house privileges will cost net this year, against previously. "In deciding to lower admission prices this winter the association felt it would like to participate in the new greater Miami policy of makng the districts accommodations and entertainment facilities available in winter to the average tourist with the average bank roll," Bright explained today. "Because Hialeah Park is definitely a greater Miami institution, we also are anxious that it be enjoyed to the utmost by Miamians. In creating the show place that is Hialeah Park, it was Mr. Wideners ambition that it be enjoyed and appreciated by the public generally and not be restricted to those of wealth." Stable space has been asked by every outstanding stable in the country for the meeting, Bright reported. While in the East he visited Laurel, where horsemen told him they were planning to ship here this winter. "Bud" May, trainer of one of the foremost stables, visited Miami last week. He purchased a home and made arrangements for an early season visit. Joseph McLennan, racing secretary, will arrive the first of November and the stake book will be issued shortly afterward.
