. I LATONIA TURF NOTES Willie Moran resumed riding today. Following the close here Moran will visit relatives in California and from there proceed to New Orleans, where he will ride through the winter. Stake blanks for the Agua Caliente meeting were distributed here today by W. H. Shelley. Harry Van has opened a public stable and at this time is training Edeyess and Slighted Lady. E. E. Watson plans to leave for Fairmount Park, where he will inspect the four horses he has there. Watson will race about seven a: Jefferson Park and Oriental Park next winter. Jockey J. McCoy declined an offer to ride in one of the Saturday events at Laurel. The five head J. H. McCoole has here will be campaigned through the winter at Jefferson Park and the Fair Grounds. T. P. -Hayes, veteran horseman, who has been in poor health for some months, is returning to Chicago for a second surgical operation. He plans to leave within the next few weeks. William Hurley received the four-year-old Harlem and the two-year-olds Breeches and Backward Never from E. R. Bradleys Idle Hour Farm. K. Aratas Union W. was an arrival from Fairmount Park and was turned over to W. E. Suggs to train. Howard Opts Fayette Prince will be un-sexed and sent to his owners farm near Lexington. J. D. Weldon arrived from Lancaster, Ohio, where he turned out the horses he had for P. Sturm. Weldon expects to acquire several horses here for winter racing. A number of the larger horse shipments from here to New Orleans next month will be combined in several express specials and will get away within a few days following the close of the meeting Saturday, November 12. T. C. Bradley reports Jefferson Park stall application blanks in big, demand and has forwarded a number of requests to general manager R. S. Eddy, Jr., at New Orleans. The first condition book covering the opening ten days of the fifty-two-day Jefferson Park meeting have been distributed here. Jockey W.
