1 EMPIRE CITY TURF NOTES e Dr. F. W. Ashe spent the day in doing missionary work for the coming Havana-American Jockey Club meeting. John Whalen and E. J. Hodgson stated that they would ship to Havana for the meeting beginning next January. J. H. Louchheim arrived from Philadelphia for the day. The entries of the horses Don Pedro and Surtees are refused for all future races of the meeting by order of the stewards. The entries of Mrs. Mollie Segal are ordered refused for all races during the meeting, by order of the stewards.
