PARNELL BOUND, away fast, had good speed, saved ground at the turn and, withstanding a long drive, outstayed LOUIE DEAR. The latter, rated close to the pace, was in close quarters briefly approaching the stretch, went resolutely under pressure, but could not get up. BARASHKOVA began slowly, saved ground and, closing fast, outfinished DR. PARRISH. The latter bore in repeatedly, found room on the inside in the stretch and closed strong. LANIER weakened, in the final drive. ENGLEWOOD lost ground and was going well in the late stages. SAWDUST quit. TWILL had early speed. Scratched 77274 Hollywood Sure, 108. MISS KID, slightly forced back in the opening quarter, saved ground after reaching the turn and clos.ed boldly. LONG JOHN dropped far out of it approaching the stretch, but came with a rush the last three-sixteenths. LUTIE SCHUSTER had speed, but weakened and swerved in the final eighth., CHESTNUT TREE, rated close to the pace, faltered under pressure. SIS GARDNER raced greenly. LUGANO quit. MAKING BUBBLES, quick to get going, bore out at the far turn, briefly gave way to COOTS when swerving in the stretch and was up in the final thirty yards. COOTS had speed from the start, was forced wide by the winner at the turn and weakened after getting to the front. GUNFIRE had no mishaps and weakened after five-eighths, but outlasted ABE FURST. The latter saved ground throughout. DONDAY raced wide. THE KING was outrun. VOTAN, up close the first three-eighths, failed to respond to hard urging and dropped far out of it at the stretch turn. GOLD STEP, away fast and displaying fine speed, had a small advantage under light restraint the first half mile, crossed to the inside at the stretch turn and gave way momentarily to MY DANDY entering the final eighth, but got up in the final strides. MY DANDY, under strong restraint early, was taken back approaching the stretch, worked his way to the front under strong riding, but weakened under his impost. RIDGEVIEW lost much ground and closed resolutely in a good effort. CATHOP had speed, but weakened in the final drive. SAZERAC was through after a half mile. PHARAHEAD forced the early pace under snug restraint, slowly drew clear under pressure, but weakened in the final fifty yards. FAIR ROCHESTER, a strong factor throughout, held on stubbornly. SUN GROS began slowly, raced very wide and closed with a rush in a fine effort. STAR BROOK, close to the pace after three-eighths, was in close quarters near the end. UNCLE DONALD lost ground. CONSWATER, given a poorly judged ride, was excessively rushed in the early pacemaking and weakened badly from the effort after sjven-eighths. REJUVENATION had no mishaps. IRENE T. was outrun.
