J EMPIRE CITY TURF NOTES ! . g, e Robert Robertson, father of jockey A. Robertson, arrived from Maryland with the platers Westys Fox and Haggerstown. R. d. Watts brought Flier, Purple Sage, Fairly, Traufey and Wild Lassie from Pimlico to race here. Via Appia, owned by Mrs. Sadie Bennett, was ordered scratched from the first race by the stewards because of forfeit dues that had not been paid.
