TWENTY GRAND IN WORKOUT LAUREL, Md., Oct. 22. Twenty Grand, star handicap horse of the Greentree Stable, was given a public trial before the first race at Laurel Saturday when, he ran a mile and one-quarter with jockey C. Kurtsinger in the saddle in 2:07. The early fractions were as follows: :24, :48, 1:14, 1:40, 1:53. Preceding the pair Dynastic and St. Brid-eaux of the same establishment were timed a mile in 1:41, the fractions of the pair being :24, :48, 1:15.
