MIDGLEY SHOT TO DEATH BALTIMORE, Md., Nov. 15 William Midgley, was found shot to death in the bath room of his home here at 2100 Cold Spring Lane, early today. It was considered a case of suicide and it is known that he had been brooding considerably over the action of the stewards of The Jockey Club, in revoking his training license. For a considerable time, Midgley has been training horses for different sportsmen and one of his most important engagements was when he trained for the late Gifford Cochran. He also trained for Samuel D. Riddle. In his youth he was a jockey of ability and was in the employ of some of the best racing stables of his time.
