PROBABLE FIELD FOR DERBY Ladysman, Head Play and Charley 0. Head List of Probable Contestants in Big Race. LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 1.— Indications today were that the Derby starting field will come from among the following: W. R. Coes Ladysman and Pomponius; Mrs. Crumps Head Play; Eastman Estates Charley O.; Colonel Bradleys Brokers Tip; Catawba Stables Mr. Khayyam and Good Advice; Audley Farms Trace Call; F. A. Griffiths Sarada; L. Rosenbergs Kerry Patch; L. M. Seversons Spicson; Three Ds Stock Farms Strideaway; J. E. Hughes Silent Shot; Brookmeade Stables Inlander; Calumet Farms Warren Jr.; Mrs. Parrishs Isaiah, and L. Jones and Sons Fair Rochester. Although they arrived almost two hours later than scheduled, the six Derby candidates that reached the Downs from Maryland this afternoon were reported in good condition. In the two-car shipment were Mr. Khayyam, the Chesapeake Stakes winner, and his stable and running mate, Good Advice; Sarada, Inlander, Kerry Patch and Silent Shot. Mr. Khayyam, Good Advice and Sarada shared a car, and the three others made the trip in as much comfort. Tomorrow the Derby favorite Ladysman and his companion Pomponius and Trace Call will start west.
