I WASHINGTON PARK NOTES ] $ # Included in the large shipment which arrived from Louisville Saturday morning were eleven, the property of the Peconic Stable, of J. D. Norris, Jr., Albert Sabath, twelve; Edward Haughton, fifteen; Jake Lowenstein, fourteen; J. W. Parrish, twelve; and C. H. Knebelkamp, ten. Haughton brought the six he had at Aurora, which gives him a stable of twenty-one for the Homewood meeting. Ben Jones vanned four, the property of T. C. Worden, from Aurora and they were added to the fourteen that he has at Washington Park. Bert Williams arrived from Aurora with nine head. He has five for C. C. Van Meter, two for C. W. Hay, one, the property of Jake Lowenstein and Deal Again for A. K. Stone. Harry S. Hart has sixteen of the Le Mar Stock Farm Stable at Washington Park. The older horses are Morsel, Marooned, Misguide, Morvan, Miscalculation, Mocker and Morality. He is training Silver Cord for Mrs. F. Cahn and has seven homebred two-year-olds to race under the Le Mar silks. George Swain is making the engagements for L. Cunningham and Eddy Arcaro, both under contract to C. E. Davison. In keeping with the Century of Progress sentiment and the Worlds Fair the first race of the Washington Park program is named "Lets Go Chicago." J. Westrope, leading rider at Churchill Downs will report to O. L. Foster, his contract employer Monday. J. B. Theall transferred the eleven horses he is training from Hawthorne to Washington Park this morning. Jack Howard arrived from Louisville with twenty-one head, the property of Mrs. Jack Howard, E. D. Shaffer and the Chicago-owned Coldstream Stud. The unbeaten Advising Anna, an Illinois Oaks eligible headed the shipment. George Phillips has Mr. Sponge, Pari-Mutuel, Double Heart, Try King, Try Come, and Hoptoit at Washington Park for C. Le-roy King and Gold Sweeper and Beau Jolie, which race under his colors. Mr. Sponge and Pari-Mutuel were purchased from Jos. E. Widener during the Hialeah season.
