The latter took command when CANNY AGE tired, but was no match for the winner. SYNGO moved up near the end. COURT BUTTERFLY saved ground and finished gamely. CANNY AGE set the pace, but tired. HEAP GOOD was close up. PENSWEEP was unable to improve his position. KHAKI JOHN raced well for seven eighths. PAPALICO was not a factor.
