HEAD PLAY, on the outside going to the first turn, was hard urged on the far turn, but could not get up. DARK WINTER was close up earlv and tired. The latter was rated along under restraint, was put to a drive in the stretch and was gaining on the winner at the finish. HELIANTHUS showed speed, but tired from the early effort.
