SMALL Buf SELECT HELD To Contest Cincinnati Handicap, Principal Attraction of Saturdays Coney Island Card. CINCINNATI, Ohio, Aug. 4. Topped by the Cincinnati Handicap, at one mile and a sixteenth, that attracted a small but representative field of six, the first Saturdays program of the Cincinnati Jockey Club, at its Coney Island track here tomorrow is a most attractive one. .. - . Samuel Fursts three-year-old Bright Bubble, is called on to shoulder the top impost of 110 pounds and will meet Leo J. Marks Morsel, a winner of the Harold Stakes; W. L. Johnsons Rip Van Winkle, holder of a track record at Jefferson Park; W. F. Haus-mans .Ridgeview, which has an Enquirer Handicap to her credit; R. L. Bakers Peggy Lehmann, and the improving Flag Flying, which races for Mark Burton. After bowing to such good three-year-old fillies as Earn Swallow, Bamboula and Es-seff in renewals of the Kentucky, Illinois and Latonia Oaks, Bright Bubble, which won the Ashland Oaks at Lexington, showed a return to her spring form in accounting for the Queen City Purse, Wednesday. The daughter of Bubbling Over failec to enter the winners ranks as a two-year-old, but this season offered formful competition against those of her age and sex. In addition to the handicap, two of which will be programmed weekly, with a ,000 value, is the Fort Hamilton Allowance Purse at five and one-half furlongs for two-year-olds. This will mark the Coney Island debut of Foley Brothers Counsellor Crane. His last effort was a victory over the highly regarded Penncote in a juvenile handicap at Latonia. He will pick up the top weight of 117 pounds and among his opponents will be Silver Sun, Cactus Rose, Eurydice, Fiji and four others. Seven of the best sprinters quartered here are named for the third race at six -furlongs and among those to be seen under colors are Plumage, Bedight, Justice Logan and four others. There will be eight races, but Jack B. Campbell, racing secretary, has put on a substitute affair to be used in case there will be a change in track conditions.
