CHURCHILL DOWNS MOTES The stewards meted out another suspen ¬ sion for rough riding when they ordered Herb Fisher down for the remainder of the meeting for his failure to prevent Little Mickey from crowding some of his rivals shortly after the start in the second race Friday FridayMany Many horsemen have commented most favorably on the work of Calvin Rainey New Orleans boy who rode his first win ¬ ning race early in the meeting and since has added several more winners He is un ¬ der contract to C H Knebelkamp and ac ¬ companies the stable of his employer to Belmont Park next week weekJ J T Taylor will have seven and his broth ¬ er Walter four for racing at Washington Park and Latonia respectively Several in the Chicago unit are owned by Mrs Silas B Mason wealthy KentuckyNew York patroness patronessEl El Puma a double winner here Cresta Run and the twoyearold Miss Jap will campaign through the Washington Park The main division of Joseph E Wideners strong establishment headed by Hurryoff Peace Chance and Golden Way and also well fortified with twoyearolds leaves Monday for Belmont Park in charge of Pete Coyne Eighteen will be in the impor ¬ tant shipment and twelve left behind go to Washington Park where they will be raced by D E Stewart who made a splen ¬ did showing with a small number of the Widener horses at Miami the past season The Belmont winner Hurryoff which was left at the farm when Coyne brought the big stable here was added to the stable today Sickle Haste Chance Shot Sweep Man o War and St James sired the grand looking crop of juveniles of which several worked exceptionally fast here comprising I the younger division of the stable
