YORK N Y June 15 King Saxon the remarkable son of Saxon and Poltova that carries the silks of C H Pat Knebelkamp continued on his winning way at Aqueduct today when he added the Car ¬ ter Handicap to his score This old seven furlong sprint had a net value of 6850 to the winner and starter George Cassidy helped the score of the winner along by permitting him to beat the others away from the stalls stallsMrs Mrs John Hay Whitneys Singing Wood raced to second place and far back of the son of Royal Minstrel John Simonettis Sgt Byrne was third before Mrs Deering Howes Only One which had raced second to King Saxon in the Queens County Handicap HandicapThe The start of the feature brought a great chorus of boos from some 20000 that were out for a great day of sport though the winning of the Knebelkamp colt was popu ¬ lar for he has become a rare favorite with the crowd with his victories in the Pau monok Excelsior Metropolitan and Queens County Handicap In the Carter he carried his superiority When straightened out after the swerving the High Time colt raced straight and true and won with plenty to spare Snark tired rather badly when punished while Galsac after crossing the inner rail finished going well being slightly more than a length back of Snark and a like distance before Max ine F Portden from the Geneseo Stable by a rush through the final furlong earned a close j decision over the B B Stables Major Gen ¬ eral in the opening six and a half furlongs dash while trie B B campaigner was well before Mrs J M Blacks Waters et and Nan ¬ kin was a close fourth
