SUSPEND TRAINER NEWMAN Stewards of Charles Town Jockey Club Refer Case to West Vir ¬ ginia Racing Commission CHARLES TOWN W Va June 15 The stewards of the Charles Town Jockey Club today suspended trainer Ollie Newman for the remainder of the meeting and referred his case to the West Virginia Racing Com ¬ mission and suspended all horses under Newmans care as a result of a saliva test taken on Miss Catalan on June 12 12The The stewards also suspended jockey A Williams for the remainder of the meeting for accepting a mechanical appliance other than a whip or spur which he is said to have intended using on Rube Samuelsqn In todays seventh race raceWilliams Williams case has been referred to the state racing commission with a suggestion that his license be revoked and that the lad be ruled off offHorses Horses under Newmans care who were suspended with todays ruling are Miss Cat ¬ alan BradyNewman Mad Flow This Play and Bill Brady Newman is the second trainer suspended for stimulating a thoroughbred the other being H C Borse
