IVAN W., racing on the outside of his opposition all the way, finished courageously and was wearing down the winner at the end. POTENTIAL worked his way up next to the inner rail in the stretch. FLO ALONG closed a big gap and saved ground in the run home. COPPER raced wide at the stretch turn. VLADIMIR quit. The others were outrun. FAIR KEN came strongly on the outside of his opposition through the stretch and in a game finish got up in the last few yards. HILDURS REASON, a keen factor throughout, held on better than usual. BERYL KING displayed much speed from the start and held on fairly well. CHANA closed a wide gap and finished going strongly. KYOTO was crowded back between the leaders at the far turn and weakened steadily during the last quarter mile. SINGLE SPOT acted badlv at the oost. BLACK DAME was practically left.
