STOUT HEART made the early pace under slight restraint, came away gradually in the stretch and was again taken under restraint after reaching the final sixteenth. MIGHTY QUICK raced wide in the early-stages, improved her position fast on the stretch turn, swerved to the inside in the final eighth and closed well when straight. CHANCE DAME, well up throughout, was under strong riding in the final quarter mile. LEALETTE broke slowly and bore over in the stretch. OUR PRINCE had speed, was tiring when slightly forced back by MIGHTY QUICK in the stretch and was eased up near- the end. DUSKY DARK showed nothing. Scratched— 12810 Judge Newman, 107. GIBBYS CHOICE, suited by the going and racing in his best form, raced around the leaders entering the stretch and tired after three-quarters, but held PRINCE SULIEMAN safe. The latter, beginning slower than usual, moved up with a rush on the stretch and and also tired in the last stages. LILY MAY, quickest to begin and forced back by FLIGHT OF GOLD on the turn, held on well. TRANSPOSE was on the inside throughout. TOMFOOLERY began sluggishly and raced wide. FLIGHT OF GOLD quit badly. DlLVVTN, taken back sharply when in close quarters at the far turn, moved up fast entering the stretch and continued well to the end. GALMICA, raced wide in the early stages, was under strong urging after three-eighths and weakened in the final eighth. SANDY BOY was crowded back and did not improve his speed when clear. KENTUCKY BLUES was in tight quarters briefly at the far turn, but kept up and gave way badly in the stretch. ROYAL LEON swerved to the inside in the stretch and almost fell after passing the finishing line.
