f LAT0NIA TURF NOTES o and John Michael OBrien, 18 year-old Louisville boy, was granted an apprentice license Saturday by the Latonia stewards. He is under contract to George S. Morris. Track superintendent Charles Nolte reported that there are approximately 835 horses on the grounds for the Latonia meeting, a number which virtually absorbs all the stable accommodations here. Freddie Burton, who long has been employed in an official capacity at Latonia and other tracks, severed his connections with Latonia Saturday to become racing secretary at Charles Tqwn.
