Won driving; second and third the same. -TRULY YOURS, fortunate in gaining clear sailing through the back stretch, moved up fast, took com? mand in the stretch, bore in through the last seventy yards and drew clear at the end. SYLVIA G. moved up fast on the inside and finished jn close quarters when the winner bore in. BEE LINE, in the forefront throughout, had a lot taken out of him in racing with BEDIGHT and, despite holding on stoutly, was unable to stave off the challenges of the first two. SCOTCH QUEEN was unable to make up any appreciable amount of ground in the stretch. BEDIGHT, hard hustled while showing the way, faltered through the stretch. WISE ANNE raced to the front at once, drew clear in the run down the back stretch and, steadied along under slight restraint, had enough left to withstand the closing bid of MISS CAREFUL. The latter moved up stoutly on the inside leaving the back stretch, closed with a rush and was overhauling the winner at every stride at the end. SPITTENIMAGE was prominently placed all the way, but was, unable to keep pace in the final drive. STIPULATE was outrun early and came with a belated burst of speed through the stretch. GRANNYS TRADE was well placed early, faltered after going three-eighths and pulled up lame. KENT, well up early, retired after rounding the far turn. COUNT TETRARCH assumed command soon after the start, withstood determined early opposition from SWEEPERMAN, drew away into a long lead and held on gamely to the end. GOLDFIN, a trailer until the closing quarter mile, finished with a rush on the outside through the stretch. SUN CAMP was well placed throughout. SWEEPERMAN was hard ridden from the beginning, but tired in the closing drive. PATIENT SAINT was forced to take up after rounding the first turn and was caught in close quarters again in the back stretch, but moved up when gaining clear sailing, but had too much taken out of him and was unable to improve his position in the closing three-sixteenths. APOGEE hard hustled from the start, raced to the front in the opening sixteenth, was kept under pressure in disposing of CONSERVATIVE and drew out through the stretch run. TALKED ABOUT was unable to keep up after gaining clear sailing, saved ground in the stretch and closed stoutly on the inside, getting up to take the place in the final stride. CONSERVATIVE, away fast, made a determined effort to keep pace with the winner, but was not good enough and surrendered second place right at the end. PLANETOID, away well, was unable to keep up and had no excuses. JACKIE D. was forced to take up at the start and, badly outpaced early, closed with good courage on the outside. The latter forced the early pace, disposedo f NIPANTUCK for command and, despite holding on willingly, was unable to cope with the bid of the winner. VENETIAN was badly outrun until leaving the back stretch and closed with a rush through the stretch run. SEAWICK held on gamely in the drive, but was unable to threaten.
