DANGER POINT crossed over sharply toward the outside after the start, drew away into a long lead and had speed in reserve. PLANETARIUM was kept forwardly from the start, but hung under pressure in the final drive. MERRY MAKER, in nearest pursuit of the early pace, was placed under pressure in the final quarter mile, but could not menace the winner. PAPENIE finished with good courage under pressure at the end. MONUMENT was bothered when DANGER POINT swerved over at the start, was placed under fevcrc pressure and finished with good courage on the inside. I BIRMINGHAM began slowly and improved his position steadily under restraint, moved up fast on tha inside nearing the final fence and disposed of EL DORADOR under pressure in the final drive. The latter; followed the early pace under steady restraint, moved into command with a rush after taking the fifth: fence, lost ground going to the final turn and held on well under pressure. NATIONAL ANTHEM jumped, well and showed speed to the first turn of the field, was tiring fast at the end, but outlasted DUNDRILLINj The latter dropped back after racing in pursuit of the early pace and came again at the finish under lirginev SYRIAC was kept forwardly. the first turn of the field, made a bad landing at the eighth fence and tired; thereafter. SINGLE RAGAN was kept in a forward position during the early running, came to the outside for the stretch run and closed well. CARP, outrun in the early stages,-saved ground rounding the stretch and finished well. SANG FROID came to the outside for the stretch run. and made up ground slowly. ALADDINS DREAM lacked early speed. TUTTICURIO was shuffled back after the break. MASKED GAL moved up with determination on the inside entering the stretch turn and quit under pressure. FAIR STEIN, well up all the way, was placed under pressure in the stretch run to outlast PULLMAN. The latter raced in nearest pursuit of the early pace all the way, but faltered under pressure at the end. DEVILS PACE was kept forwardly all the way and responded to pressure in the final drive. PREMIERE, away well but swerved to the inside, moved up with determination under pressure, but hung at the end. RICHMOND ROSE was outrun early, came over to the inside and finished with good courage under pressure. TOP GEM was kept forwardly in the early stages, but faltered at the end. PLAYFOLE raced forwardly all the way, moved up resolutely rounding the farurn, but could not menace the winner. CACHALOT, outrun but closer up than usual, moved up on the outside rounding the far turn, raced wide entering the stretch and closed steadily under pressure. SHIP EXECUTIVE saved cround all the way and had n6 mishaps. STARRY NIGHT set the pace under sufferencc. MORALIST, well up the first part, dropped back steadily nearing the far turn and could not improve its position when called upon.
