MCKNIGHT QUITS RIVERSIDE RIVERSIDEV V HI Health Prevents Starter From FromWorking Working 0 H McMillan Se ¬ lected for Vacated Post KANSAS CITY Mo May 22 Arthur Mc Knight who has been doing the starting at Riverside Park since the track opened has decided not to officiate in that position this spring McKnight who had been very ill last winter is improving in health but his physician advised him not to do any strenuous work for a while whileLast Last evening the officials of Riverside Park wrote to C H McMillan of San Saba Texas offering him the position and it is more than likely when the meeting opens McMillan will be the one that sends the horses away awayAlthough Although McMillan is new to the larger tracks he comes highly recommended to the Riverside Jockey Club by horsemen who have seen him start on the smaller tracks in Texas and Montana
