GALVINS SON VICTIM OF GAS Found Dead From Carbon Monoxide Fumes in Garage of Family Home in Covington. COVINGTON, Ky., April 26. Wesley Gal-vin, thirty-two-year-old son of Maurice Gal-vin, prominent Kentucky political leader and secretary-treasurer of the American Turf Association, died early Tuesday in Covington from carbon monoxide gas poisoning. The body of young Galvin, fully clothed, was discovered in the rear seat of his automobile in the garage of the Galvin home, Fifth and Garrard Streets, by a porter. Dr. James Riffe, coroner, and members of the life squad of Covington, who rushed Galvin to the St. Elizabeth Hospital, where futile efforts were made to revive him, reported that the automobiles motor was running and the garage doors closed. Dr. Riffe is awaiting further investigation before announcing a verdict.
