: JAMAICA HANDICAP WEIGHTS Snark Assigned 136 Pounds for Saturdays Feature at New York ,000 Added Race. JAMAICA, N. Y., April 26. J. B. Campbell has jumped the Wheatley Stables Snark four pounds over his Paumonok weight for the six furlongs of the Jamaica Handicap, to be run at the close of the Metropolitan Jockey Clubs meeting Saturday. The son of Boojum carried the scale of 132 in the opening handicap of the New York season and he is required to take up 136 pounds in the Jamaica. He Did and Preeminent, each ten pounds under the Wheatley sprinter, come second in the handicap under 126 pounds each, so it is realized how Snark stands in the Campbell opinion.
