PURSES PROM 400 to 800 LEXINGTON Ky Oct 19 Fred Burton racing secretary of the Charlestown Jockey Club announced today the minimum purse for the coming fifteen days of racing be ¬ ginning December 1 will be 400 According to Burton there will be a 1000 handicap each Wednesday and Saturday during the meet and on other days the purses will vary from the minimum to 800 Eight races will be offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays
