LOUISIANA SENSATION SENSATIONNEW NEW ORLEANS La July 12 Hints of sensational action from two points today en ¬ livened investigations of Louisianas finan ¬ cial scandal First hint came in Baton Rouge where Gov Earl K Long promised State Treasurer A P Tugwell that he might get a real surprise in his demand for a sweeping probe into the Department of Con ¬ servation which handles Louisianas multi million dollar oil industry The second came from District Attorney Dewey Sanchez who said that the East Baton Rouge Parish grand jury which resumed deliberations to ¬ day after a day recess might return further indictments This body has already handed down five indictments including one against Dr James Monroe Smith former president of the State University charging embezzle ¬ ment of 100000 worth of university funds
