the Belle Isle Handicap feature attraction at the Detroit Fair Grounds today Picking up her impost of 107 pounds which included jockey George King Wise Moss repeated her recent winning effort in the Dominion Handicap to annex todays head liner Charles Leists ShakerMan finished second and was a half length before B M Smiths Cooling Spring who downed the six other starters for minor honors Epidor who shared the public support with the win ¬ ner for favoritism could do no better than seventh and did not appear to relish the sloppy going goingStarter Starter Bryan Steele effected a good break after only a oneminute delay at the gate Aerial Bomb had the highest speed away from the stalls The ultimate winner was in closest pursuit in the run through the back stretch and Darby Dienst raced third with Cooling Spring next At the halfmile post Aerial Bomb was still showing the way by two lengths and King then called upon Wise Moss The latter responded readily enough to easily take command and steadily increased her margin to the wire Aerial Bomb gave way badly in the stretch drive and ShakerMan moved up stoutly enough to garner second over Cooling Spring SpringFOURTH FOURTH WIN OF YEAR
